Chris Moerman - Lead Pastor / @chrismoerman

Chris, his wife Jessica and their son Liam moved to the DC area in the summer of 2015 with a vision to plant a vibrant, diverse, Christ centered church in the heart of the nation’s capital. Chris grew up in the suburbs of Adelaide, Australia, where he first received his call to ministry, before moving to the US in 2008. For nearly 7 years Chris served as the College and Associate Pastor of Grace Midtown in Atlanta, GA, before taking on the role of Lead Pastor at Grace Capital City. Chris is currently completing his Masters in Global Leadership through Fuller Theological Seminary in California. 

Pete Bauman - Community Life Pastor / @pete_bauman

Pete grew up in Atlanta, GA and after attending the University of Georgia, started his work in ministry at the UGA Wesley Foundation, a campus ministry in Athens. After working with Wesley for 2 years, Pete transitioned into working in the corporate world. With a desire to return to ministry, he and his wife Ashley made the decision to move to DC and help plant GCC in December of 2014. Pete serves as the Pastor of Community Life and his heart is to see DC changed by the way the church loves each other and the city. 



Jacob Cantrell - Worship Pastor / @jacobwcantrell

Jacob grew up in Atlanta and connected with the Grace family of churches in the fall of 2009. Jacob has been leading worship and working in full time ministry for eight years, including a season interning at Grace Midtown just prior to moving to DC. His heart is to see people experience the presence of God and be set free through worship and praise. He has completed the Forerunner School of Ministry, 10,000 Fathers Worship School, Lifegate International Ministry School and is currently finishing his studies at Bible College through New Orleans Theological Seminary. 

KELI MILLER - cAPITAL KIDS director / @kelijmiller

Keli grew up in Middlebury, Indiana and after attending Indiana Wesleyan University made the move out to Northern Virginia to work with Jill's House, a disability ministry providing respite services. From there, Keli's heart for children and families was ignited. Keli joined the Grace Capital City family in 2016 when she started attending Sunday Services. One of Keli's greatest joys is to introduce kids to Jesus and reveal the Kingdom of God to young hearts. Keli's desire is to see the Church be fully welcoming and inclusive to all families and children of all abilities.
