We cannot do what we do without the help of our faithful volunteers. 

It takes all of us, working together, to create welcoming, safe and fun environments on Sundays and throughout the week.

SUNDAY TEAMS THAT NEED YOU:

EXPERIENCE TEAM (formerly Hospitality)

• Never doubt the power of a hello, smile, hug, or high-five! You’re the first person guests encounter when they arrive on Sundays, setting the tone for their experience with GCC. This team preps the space for service, helps guests feel welcomed and seen, directs everyone to their seats, gives directions to spaces in the building, answers questions about our church, and assists in tear-down after service is done. The commitment to serve is once a month.

PRODUCTION

• Those working behind-the-scenes on Sunday mornings all have superhero capes and angels wings! This team helps set up the space for service, runs our service visuals (slides and lyrics), and aids the Production Director as needed. The commitment to serve is once each month.

CAPKIDS & CAPSTUDENTS

• Volunteers meet before service and help set up the kids' space. Their primary role is to engage, assist, and play with the kids each week. The commitment is to serve once a month.

• Background check is required and specific training is provided.

PRAYER

• Going to God on behalf of others is one way we love one another! This team prays for any one desiring prayer at the end of service, helps serve communion during service as needed, and 2-3 times a year gathers for additional training for topics such as Healing Prayer, Inner Healing, Listening to God’s Voice, or Growing in Intercession. You could also be called upon for specific Sundays when extra members are needed for significant ministry times or for special GCC events. The commitment is to serve on Sundays once a month (and optional addition of 4+ Hosting The Presences a year).

WORSHIP

• You will share your musical talents alongside fellow members of the team during worship time on Sundays. (Note: GCC will advertise any upcoming auditions so if you’re interested, sit tight and consider volunteering on some of our other amazing teams!)
